
Gayle Woody (right), honored as

Gayle Woody is a Health Education Specialist
with the Jackson County Health Department and coordinates the Adolescent
Pregnancy Prevention Project. A graduate of Seattle Pacific University,
she has been a kindergarten teacher before beginning her position
in 1991. Gayle attended the Family Life Education Institute at UNC
Charlotte and is a trainer in the Baby Think It Over workshops. She
is actively involved in the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Coalition
of North Carolina and attends the Healthful Living Institute. In 2002,
Gayle was the recipient of the June Stallings Award as Outstanding
Health Educator in Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention. |
