Meet the Trainers
Kathy Teer Crumpler
Kathy
Teer Crumpler is a Health Education Specialist from Hampstead, NC.
Kathy realizes the importance of quality Health Education for students
to improve their health behavior. "If we seriously want to see improvement
in our nation's health and reduce costs, we will invest in the front
end (quality Health Education), instead of the back end (treatment
and long-term care)." Kathy received her Masters in Public Health
from UNC Chapel Hill and has served in the Peace Corps as a volunteer
and a health technical trainer, as a middle school teacher, and a
school health coordinator. She is a writer and reviewer of the Successfully
Teaching manuals and trains in Life Skills Training, Assessing
Health Literacy, Health is Academic, Making a Difference, and Baby
Think It Over. |
