Meet the Trainers
Kwain Bryant
Kwain
Bryant was the first health educator to be employed at Teen Health
Connection, a health clinic which serves adolescents in Charlotte.
Kwain has received the June Stallings Award from the Adolescent Pregnancy
Prevention Coalition of North Carolina for his work in male responsibility
programs. His degree in Health Education is from North Carolina Central
University. He trains in an alcohol
prevention/peer education program and evidence-based HIV prevention curricula, Focus on Kids,
Making Proud Choices, and Making a Difference. Kwain believes that "Health Education encourages
teens to make healthy lifestyle choices that increase longevity, productivity,
and potentiality." He is currently the director of Empowerment Exchange. |
