Abstinence Until Marriage funding can be used to support:

School systems can use abstinence funding to support the following workshops. Each is aligned with the NC Course of Study in Healthful Living Education and will be planned to comply with the state law and local family life education policy. Teachers, counselors and nurses have found these trainings to be excellent.

Making a Difference An abstinence approach to HIV/STDs and Teen Pregnancy prevention (teachers of healthful living, grades 7 & 8) Baby Think It Over (teen pregnancy prevention for middle and high school, for Family and Consumer Science teachers as well as for Healthful Living) Abstinence and Puberty Education (addresses the challenges associated with the earlier onset of puberty, for grades 4-6) Teaching Family Life Education and HIV Prevention with an Emphasis on Abstinence
